The Best Carry-On Luggage of 2026: Why Pay More for a Bag That Does Less?
Your trip should start with something to look forward to, not another bag to wrestle with. We compared five carry-ons for access, packing, handling, and value. NOBL stood out for what it does between home and your destination. Now its All-in-One Carry-On comes with a FREE Weekender. Both bags for $299.
Front Laptop Access
Built-In Cupholder
USB-C Charging

Boarding starts. Your phone is in one hand, coffee in the other, and your laptop is buried under your clothes. You paid good money for that suitcase. Why are you still doing all the work? A bag can look beautiful in your bedroom and become a nuisance the moment the trip begins.
At Best Luggage, we look beyond the brand name. A premium price should buy more than a recognizable shell. It should buy easier access, a useful interior, secure closures, and fewer little frustrations on the way to your seat.
We compared NOBL, RIMOWA, Away, TUMI, and BÉIS on the details that matter in use. Can you reach your laptop without opening the whole case? Does the packing stay organized? What do you get for the price? Each has its strengths. NOBL brings more of the everyday travel setup together.
Our pick: NOBL's All-in-One Carry-On. Front laptop access, TSA latches, compression, a cupholder, and USB-C passthrough. Useful details when you need your bag to help.
And now, the carry-on includes a FREE Weekender Bag for $299 total. Its trolley sleeve slides over the suitcase handle. Shoes or toiletries stay separate in the bottom compartment. Two bags you can roll together.
The BÉIS carry-on-and-weekender pair is listed at $386; Away's at $523. NOBL's two-bag setup is $87 or $224 less. That is a reason to look past the logo.
Our comparison criteria:
✓
Carry-on fit: Does the size and layout work for real trips?
✓
Handling: Does it move smoothly through terminals?
✓
Organization: Can you reach essentials without unpacking everything?
✓
Value: What does the price get you beyond the brand name?

Your laptop. Right there. Open the front compartment at security or at the gate. Your clothes stay packed, and you're not opening your whole suitcase for one thing.

Close it with a click. Zipperless latches secure the main case, with TSA-approved locks built in. No running a zipper around the shell before you can get moving.

Coffee in its place. The retractable cupholder holds your drink while you reach for your phone or boarding pass. One small detail that gives you a hand back.

Keep your phone connected. USB-C passthrough connects to your own power bank inside the bag. Charge while you wait instead of searching the terminal for a socket.

A Weekender, on us. The FREE bag slides over the suitcase handle. Its separate bottom compartment keeps shoes or toiletries apart. Both bags for $299.

Made for more trips. Smooth-rolling wheels help you keep moving. A lifetime warranty covers functional repairs to wheels, handles, and latches.

Know the fit: check your airline's cabin allowance against the full bag dimensions, including wheels and handles. USB-C charging requires your own power bank.

Buying a carry-on is one decision. Buying a second bag is another expense. NOBL brings the two together for $299. The All-in-One handles your main packing; the FREE Weekender keeps the things you want close within reach. Slide it over the handle and roll both together.

RIMOWA
Original Cabin · Aluminum
RIMOWA's Original Cabin puts its grooved aluminum shell front and center. The Multiwheel system, FlexDivider interior, and built-in locks complete the package. It is a distinctive choice if aluminum construction is what you want. The tradeoff: that premium finish doesn't add a front laptop compartment.

Away's Carry-On offers an understated design, two packing compartments, and interior compression to hold clothes in place. It is a straightforward option for packing and going. But reaching something inside still means opening the main case. Our live guide lists its Carry-On + Weekender pair at $523, versus $299 for NOBL's two-bag setup.

TUMI's 19 Degree makes its strongest impression with a sculpted shell and polished finish. The expandable compartment adds packing room for the journey home. It is a design-led choice for work trips. I was honestly skeptical. It's so convenient, I feel like I'm travelling with no bag cause I just roll through the airport.
I don’t travel lightly at all so I was hopeful but with caution. I truly was able to pack clothes, shoes and meds for a week! Including a couple of back up outfits! I’m so impressed. It’s also light and easy. I’m so impressed!!! Game changer!

Recently used my Nobl All-In-One carryon for a trip to Disney World. It was all I expected and more! My Owala didn’t fit in the cup holder but I could hang it on the hooks. But my Brita water bottle and numerous other cups did fit!
Also, the wheels were SO SMOOTH! I was amazed. We had to travel over some cobblestones to get to our room and I was sure the wheels were ruined. But nope, they were just as perfect on the return trip.

Used my All-in-One Carry On for the first time and it made navigating through the airport so much easier.

Hi Michael, glad it made your first trip easier! That's exactly where a carry-on should help: getting you through the airport with less hassle. Thanks for sharing how it went.

These feel extremely well-built, roll smoothly, and look amazing in person. The front-access compartment is a game changer for laptops and travel documents at the airport.
They pair perfectly with my larger Nobl luggage and give my whole travel setup a clean, professional look.

I. Love. This. Carry-on.
The laptop compartment means I don't have to suffer a sore shoulder any more from hauling the equivalent of a filing cabinet
